How we write

• Plain about what we know. We don't claim to have tested a product unless we have. When an article is based on research or general practice rather than hands-on testing, we write it that way.
• Sources where they matter. When a fact depends on a vendor, a standard, or a search engine's published guidance, we point to where it comes from.
• No paid opinions. Some links may be affiliate links, which is disclosed in our Terms & Disclaimer. That never changes what we recommend.

How an article gets made

We pick a question readers actually search for, check what already exists, and decide what we can add that's clearer or more useful. We write it, review it for accuracy and clarity, and publish it with a plain summary at the top. After publishing, we revisit articles when tools, prices, or guidelines change.

Tools, prices, and search guidelines change. If you spot something out of date or wrong, tell us through the Contact page and we'll review it and update the article. Material changes are reflected in the article itself.
